Did you know the estimated cost to the UK economy of landfilling textiles is approximately £82 million per year? 150 billion items of clothing are produced every year around the World and we throw away or incinerate a truck full of clothes every minute.

Scary right?

This must change! We need to move away from the make/take/waste model of consuming our clothes, many would argue we're not even consuming them anymore, we're using them for a little bit and discarding them all too easily. It has become common practice for some to wear an outfit a handful of times (or even once!) before discarding it.

We believe every retailer should take responsibility for the products they manufacture and understand that any item manufactured lives on, far beyond the retailers huge profit targets are met!

We want your Dinki Human products to last as long as possible, and we want to avoid anything we produce ending up in landfill or being incinerated. We all know kids clothing and baby clothing can have a short life in your little one's wardrobe - they grow so fast!

We encourage you to pass your Dinki items on to others when you’re finished with them. Share the LOVE! When many items are worn for a year or less they are in great condition and will no doubt be appreciated by their new owner!

There are loads of ways you can help extend the life cycle of your Dinki Human product. You can; repair them if they’re broken, pass them on to family or friends, keep them as a momento of their childhood, donate them to a local charity or recycle them.

There’s also another option.... the Dinki Human Pre-Loved Initiative.

Return an item to Dinki Human HQ and we’ll re-make them into something new or donate them to a local children's charity. In exchange we will give you 20% off your next purchase.
