Meet our new stockist... Ottie and the Bea

We have welcomed a new stockist to the Dinki Human Tribe!

We caught up with Julia from Ottie and the Bea to celebrate the launch of Dinki Human in this fabulous store, and to find out more about her brand's beginnings and life as a business owner and mother. I LOVE this store, I first visited a year ago and fell in love with the vibe, it is a book lover's paradise and has a beautiful selection of toys. I am honoured Dinki Human is a part of this award winning, great space!

You'll be able to find the following organic kids clothes styles from the Dinki Human range at Ottie and the Bea; baby rompers, baby bibs and organic cotton baby blankets.

‘Dinkiville’ Print

The Dinkiville print represents the local community. Many of the visual references will be familiar to most children but many may not be as familiar with wind turbine, tower blocks or caravans in their everyday surroundings. The print shows the idea we all live slightly differently but we’re all part of something bigger.

'Earth Leopard' Print

Organic Kids Clothes made with love. Baby Leggings with a message! Here’s our take on a leopard print for the eco-conscious ‘Alpha’ generation! We’re over the moon to have partnered up with TRAID, a charity working to tackle the negative environmental and social impacts of making, consuming and disposing of clothes.

‘Community’ Print

This print is the hero of the ‘Community Collection’ - a collection that celebrates unity and togetherness. The print demonstrates the power of the individual and the strength of a crowd. We believe every child has a very significant place in the world and they deserve to be heard.

The design represents the power of a collective, their voice and their impact.

Dinki Human in partnership with TRAID

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with TRAID in our new 'Community' Collection. 10% of proceeds from every style in the 'EARTH LEOPARD' print will be donated to this fantastic charity.

We know our customer cares about the environmental impact of their purchases, our ethos is central to everything we do at Dinki Human, our ethics are our DNA. You can be sure when you buy a Dinki Human product you are buying something that has been ethically manufactured with love for our planet, each and every individual involved in making our products and of course love for our customers.

The Community Collection: Organic Kids Clothing

This collection demonstrates the Dinki Ethos. It is unisex, organic and ethically made. We are so proud to have a transparent supply chain and reliable and responsible measures in place to ensure everyone involved in manufacturing a Dinki product from farmer to machinist is treated fairly.

Dinki Human Pre-Loved Initiative

Return an item to Dinki Human HQ and we’ll re-make them into something new or donate them to a local children's charity. In exchange we will give you 20% off your next purchase.

Dinki Human & Makers HQ : A Celebration of British Manufacture

We are so excited to be working with this fabulous company and helping to re-establish the city's historical links to the fashion industry. And being a Plymouth College of Art alumni, I have a personal invested interest in supporting fashion and textile manufacturing in this great city.

The entire Dinki Human range is ethically manufactured in the UK. We are advocates for British design and fully support the resurgence of British manufacture.

Designing the 'Weekdays' Print

“The Weekdays” print is a contemporary version of the old favourite that is said to originate from the 1500s. The day a child was born was said to directly impact the child's temperament and fortune. Although I’m a sucker for starsigns, the only thing that seems to affect my daughters temperament is amount of snacks in her system and how much sleep she’s had.

Designing the ‘Peace and Power’ Print

We all want our children to live in a world of peace and without turmoil, and we want them to have a voice, to feel they can express themselves honestly and freely, to be connected with their feelings and with that, to be powerful.
