Our core values underpin everything we do and we pride ourselves on being sustainable, natural and fair. As a small brand designing and manufacturing in the UK, using only GOTS certified organic fabrics, OEKO TEX standard inks and dyes and using plastic-free and recycled paper and packaging products we are able to keep our carbon footprint low, however we wanted to minimise our impact further.
We are thrilled to be working with Ecologi to ensure we offset our employee and travel carbon emissions. On behalf of Dinki Human, Offset Earth will plant trees and invest in CO2 reduction projects that remove more greenhouse gases than our carbon footprints put in, allowing us to become a Climate Positive workforce. Isn't that marvellous!
Ecologi's CO2 reduction projects include a wind farm in Indonesia, a solar farm in India, biomass energy generation in China and mangrove planting in Madagascar. These projects each have Gold Standard certification meaning they reach the highest levels of environmental integrity and contribute to sustainable development.
The WWF have a cool Carbon Footprint Calculator that allows you find out your estimated carbon footprint based on answering a few simple lifestyle questions. You can find out your score and also see recommendations on how to lower your footprint.
