Having moved to Dorset from London 6 years ago I still miss it. Even more-so as I try to navigate start-up life and motherhood, it feels like there are so many more resources available to female entrepreneurs, and the fabulous world of Instagram can be so London-centric it can feel like the rest of us are getting left out!

I recently braved the train journey with my daughter, the week before her second birthday, for some mama daughter London fun. We had the BEST TIME at Biscuiteers Boutique and Icing Cafe on Northcote Rd, Battersea. I had pre-arranged this a week in advance paying £15 for three biscuits including the icing materials (piping bags of colourful icings and little sweets and chocolates for decoration) and a cute decorative box to take away with you.

As my Dinki date wasn’t even two years old I had suspected I was being crazy but sometimes I have to let the Tiger mum in me get what she wants! If you know of the Biscuiteers brand you'll no doubt know they sell beautiful iced biscuit creations - I LOVE watching videos of how they do it. I didn't have enough hands to film our icing experience whilst ensuring sweets weren't thrown, coffee wasn't knocked over or piping bags weren't pointed at innocent passers by, so I'm hoping my photos show enough!

I thoroughly recommend anyone does this, with or without kids, it was so fun.
