Our cotton/bamboo printed baby muslin is woven and sewn in a women’s cooperative in Kerala, Southern India. The government funded initiative gives women in very small rural villages regular employment, a fair wage and the chance to work flexibly around looking after their families.
For the first year of a baby’s life vision is limited and they respond well to simple, bold, high contrast patterns. Research suggests these types of prints help baby to “develop their ability to focus their attention and levels of concentration.”(read more here)
